Close To Airport / Reasonable For The Anount You Pay.

The location to the International Airport was great. The Hotel provided a free shuttle to and from the Airport. The staff were friendly and check-in was fast and efficient. The room was comfortable and had an additional bed? Overall it was alright for what you pay.

The bed was on wheels so I moved around a little throughout the night. I do recommend replacement sheets and pillows. The room was dated and does require some attention. The water pressure was minimal for the shower. An empty minibar refrigerator was provided, it would have been nice to have some options.

Good stay close to airport

Lovely room, good breakfast buffet, shuttle service times written out, nice pool. There was room service menu in the room & bottled water. Allow time for the shuttle if it is rush hour.

The water was only warm not hot in the bath. There was no information readily available either in the room or on their hotel TV channel. A laminated info sheet would have been helpful.

Ideal destination for a short stay near BKK airport

The room is very big. The hotel is an ideal destination for staying in the vicinities of BKK airport. It has all the necessary facilities for a short stay before / after a plane trip to BKK. Special mention for the fitness room.

The shuttle is at fixed times, and most of the time there seems to be only one shuttle per hour. The hotel is far from downtown.

It was a last minute booking that met my expectations.

Close to the airport, a shuttle service to collect & return to the airport, a large, clean, room, comfortable beds and a good restaurant.

Bathroom a bit dated with poor water pressure and hot water not hot enough.

Good proximity to the airport

We stayed at this Hotel because of the proximity to the airport. Our flight was delayed and this was a good Hotel and a swift booking process.

The air-conditioning need overhaul. We had to turn it off as the clicking noise was very annoying.

location - 15 mins from airport with free shuttle. the staff were exceptionally friendly, especially the Thai/Finnish lady. the lounge decor.

The staff were amazing.

The staff were amazing. Breakfast was lovely. A really nice, clean hotel close to the airport. I was training a lot whilst on holiday and this hotel had an amazing gym. The pool area is pleasant enough and clean. It’s not massive but it’s ok.

Nothing, it’s not a hotel to stay at if you’re wanting to get out and about in Bangkok, it’s a brilliant short stay hotel for the airport.

Good, but not what I expected from 5 stars.

The location is close to the airport. The pool is good.

The hotel charges 200 b per hour if you ask for the late check out. I didn’t pay, planning to spend the time at the pool area, but it does not have towels and the shower. Poor breakfast for 5 stars hotel.

Would not stay here again.

The entrance to the hotel was impressive. The staff, particularly the bell boys were very helpful and pleasant. However, that's where the good things stop.

Unfortunately the room had a very stale smell. The beds etc. were clean but the smell was not great. Additionally, the morning of our flight there was early drilling / construction. We weren't sure if this was coming from outside or inside the hotel. Finally, a glass bottle of water smashed when it rolled out of the fridge and reception wanted to charge 100 bhat for replacement which was a bit unneccessary for a mistake.

Not worth it

The hotel is really close to the airport and has a free shuttle service to go there

The hotel is not so clean and it has a strange smell in elevators and in common places. We didn’t have hot water in shower (I don’t know if it is always like this), cleanings were not so good (we’ve found a gecko in the room at the same moment we entered and some hair in the shower). Moreover staff was not so kind... I am very disappointed because even if it didn’t have the best reviews I wanted to try the hotel anyway because the pictures seemed good. Definitely not worth it, neither for short stays!

The lobby area

The service is very poor and the staff barely speak English. I had to use google translator and still the communication was very difficult. They mainly serve Asian food for breakfast and it’s not suitable for vegan people. Also, over the phone they said that the shuttle from the airport was free of charge and once reached the hotel they asked for money, which I didn’t pay.

What was the highlight of Siam Mandarina Hotel

Much improved and still improving hotel, comfy, good food and good staff.

The hotel was in the process of changing its name and some of its facilities. This was being done quite seamlessly and facilities are becoming more than under the previous name. Very helpful check in staff secured for me the sort of room I wanted, which was an improvement on what had been booked. One of the changes which was vert helpful was that the restaurant opened in the evening and the food was very good. (There is not very much available near to the hotel so the availability of an evening meal was very welcome). Some great views from upper floor rooms of airport activity.

The range of oriental and western food was very fair but three problems I hope can be overcome and which may have been due to staff changes. First, the restaurant is open for breakfast until 10am but long before then many items were no longer available. Second, whilst freshly cooked eggs, to order, are great, the frequent absence of the chef was frustrating. Thirdly, the supervisor, the woman who checked names, thought it a good idea also to raise the lids of all of the covers of the hot food items, even though they were labelled. Given that there was no heating underneath, the items got cold quickly. If someone shut a lid, she would lift it again. With corrections to these areas the breakfast would be really very good but if in doubt.....go early !

On arrival, the room was very hot. It took several hours for the air conditioning to cool down the room. I’d suggest closing the curtain during daytime until before the guest arrives.

Family vacation

It was nice and clean. The staff were kind and friendly. The hotel was for our last night in Thailand and the room we have was on the 4th floor which over looked the city. Beautiful way to end our family vacation.

The hotel was far from food markets and shopping centers, you had to taxi everywhere. When they say the water in the room is complimentary and the even have the sign in the room by the water bottles, it’s really not. They charged us for a bottle that we bought from outside the hotel and looks like the bottle from the hotel. So when you ask if it’s free make sure you get the name of the staff member that told you that it was free, because they will charge you. Point is when they say something is complimentary, it does not mean it’s complimentary.
